32 hours per week
Monday – Friday 8.30-5pm
  
Wimmera Hospice Care is the specialist palliative care service for the Wimmera region. An opportunity exists for a suitably qualified Registered Nurse to join the Wimmera Hospice Care team. 

The purpose of this position is to provide palliative care nursing clinical support and act as an expert resource to patients and their carers and primary care providers across the Wimmera region.    

Key Selection Criteria:

Essential
• Registered Nurse with Australian Health Professionals Registration Authority (AHPRA).
• High level community based experience
• Palliative care nursing experience
• Well developed communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary health team
• Current Victorian Drivers licence

Desirable
• Demonstrated and ongoing commitment to professional development
• Post graduate qualifications in palliative care or working towards same
